On the 4th of April, 2023, in collaboration with the Nourish Network, we hosted a webinar to launch the “Healthy Retail Toolkit: A ‘how-to’ guide that supports hospitality retailers to offer healthier foods in their cafes”. This practical guide supports the implementation of Victoria’s Healthy Choices guidelines. It was co-developed by a multi-sector/multi-disciplinary team, with Victorian Department of Health-funded research informing the toolkit’s final iteration.
The webinar explores:
- The value of including multi-stakeholder perspectives to identify resources tailored to the needs of end users
- The research conducted by RE-FRESH academics that sourced feedback from the food retail community on the useability of the Toolkit
- The upcoming adaptation of the Toolkit by Health and Wellbeing Queensland
- Next steps for the Toolkit
