This report presents a summary of presentations and discussions held as a regional dialogue among a network of experts, food retail practitioners, government representatives and other stakeholders engaged with UNICEF and RE-FRESH researchers from Deakin University in November 2023 on the role of retailers in East Asia and Pacific.
It consolidates emerging approaches and innovative experiences to expand responsible retail action with a view to
protect children’s right to nutritious foods, healthy food environments and food practices in the region.
