The Online Retail Food Environments Research Community of Practice (CoP) works to advance research knowledge in the area and identify ways to improve the healthiness of online food retail, including online grocery, food delivery platforms, and meal kits. The CoP brings together researchers in this field to collaborate and develop resources and policy recommendations that support healthier online food retail practices and policies.

Our aim

To create a healthy and sustainable online food retail environment.

Our objectives

  1. To describe the online retail food environment in Australia and identify opportunities to support healthier online retail food practices and policies.
  2. To co-develop and evaluate feasible and effective healthy online retail food strategies.
  3. Convene members of the group every quarter and develop a resource hub to share ideas and practical tools to assist others to make healthy changes in online retail food.
