A new report* that rates Australia’s four major supermarkets on their nutrition policies and practices has been unveiled today (Monday, April 29, 2024), providing a much-anticipated update from the release of the first evaluation results in 2018.

* This report was prepared by Professor of Public Health Policy Gary Sacks and Jasmine Chan. Prof. Sacks is a co-Director of the Global Centre for Preventive Health and Nutrition (GLOBE) within the Institute for Health Transformation (IHT) at Deakin University, and a Chief Investigator with RE-FRESH: Next Generation. Ms Chan is an Associate Research Fellow with GLOBE, within IHT at Deakin University.
